When one of the world's biggest retailers decides to make a more concerted effort towards sustainability, amazing things can happen. That's why we were over the moon to hear about See You Tomorrow, the massive investment in a more sustainable shopping experience from Nordstrom. Curated by Olivia Kim, the site helps you shop gently used clothing, which is really special for a number of reasons. Shopping resale is the most sustainable way to shop, because the garment's already been produced. Plus, it's better for your wallet, and you can have access to pieces from past seasons you haven't been able to get out of your head.
The site is now live, so you can shop to your heart's content, or you can pop in to the New York City Nordstrom on 57th Street to experience the initiative in real life. Additionally, Nordstrom will soon be rolling out a way for customers to participate even further by sending their clothes in, and if they're approved, they'll be sold on the site. Pete Nordstrom, the company's co-president, says, "We're excited to show our customers another way Nordstrom is striving to leave the world better than we found it and circular fashion is another piece to this puzzle."
