I am all in on the puffer jacket trend — I love the idea of wearing something that feels like I'm snuggled up in a sleeping bag, but actually appears to be stylish. I was shocked to open Old Navy's site only to find a bunch of cute options that look just like several designer releases I've been coveting for months. Of all the puffers I've tried, this Old Navy Water-Resistant Double-Breasted Puffer Jacket ($52, originally $65, plus extra 35% off at checkout) is my favourite by a landslide. I am often between a medium and a large, and I took a large in this piece — it's a little oversized and I love the look. It comes in sizes XS-4X.
You can wear it open with the front folded down, or button it all the way to the top for a funnel neck. I wore this jacket to get coffee with a friend on a rainy day, and I'm pleased to report it kept me completely dry. Also, I got two compliments on it within just a few hours — I think I'm totally fooling everyone with my fancy coat that's actually quite affordable.
