After Olivia Rodrigo [1]'s totally sheer red carpet look at the 2023 Grammy Awards [2], she put on an equally bold afterparty look. Spotted at the Universal Music Group's after-hours affair on Sunday, 5 Feb., the 19-year-old star changed into a micro minidress made of black sequins with a giant keyhole cutout at the chest. On her feet were equally retro platform heeled black patent sandals.
Rodrigo's light-catching dress boasted a long-sleeved silhouette with a scooped tie neckline and an open back. It's a design from 16Arlington, which the brand announced on its Instagram [3] as a custom creation, though there is a nearly identical version of the look available on its website [4] to shop now. The singer wore her hair loose and parted in the middle.
Rodrigo, who just announced the impending release of new music [5], was at the Grammys as a presenter. Her disco-inspired look was a stark contrast to her recent outfits, including the Miu Miu slip dress she chose for the Grammys. She's been opting for a '90s look as of late, but this flared-sleeve minidress definitely leans more toward the '60s than the rest.
She wore a silk and lace slip dress [6] back in September 2022 at the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, opted for a black velvet choker [7] on stage with Billy Joel in August, and turned heads in a black lace mini slip dress [8] at the end of the summer.
Ahead, check out her latest stunning look from the front and the back.
