The Duchess of Cambridge's Fashion Secret? Her Perfectly Tailored Coat Collection

Catherine has curated an impressive collection of long length coats. For a visit to the Imperial War Museum in Nov. 2021, she re-wore this sleek, navy blue long coat by Catherine Walker with an Alexander McQueen military blouse and Gianvito Rossi 85 pumps. Catherine previously wore the same navy blue Catherine Walker coat in May 2021 for an engagement in Wolverhampton during mental health awareness week.

For day 6 of her visit to Scotland with Prince William, Catherine wore a blue tartan Holland Cooper coat, with a skirt from Joseph, Manolo Blahnik heels, and earrings borrowed from The Queen. Kate wore the tartan coat on her way to host a drive-in cinema screening of Disney Cruella for Scottish NHS workers at The Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh.

Catherine visited School 21 in Stratford in May 2021 to congratulate teachers and support students following the reopening of the school after lockdown restrictions had eased. For the occasion, Kate wore a playful pink coat by Max & Co. with Jigsaw high-waisted sports luxe trousers in navy blue, Orelia London chain huggie hoop earrings, and Boden hambleden scallop jumper In azalea pink.

Long, sleek, and double breasted seems to be Catherine's jacket of choice these days. For the second day of her and Prince William's Royal Train Tour in Dec. 2020, she broke out this vibrant coat from Alexander McQueen, accessorising with a red tartan scarf and skirt whilst visiting Cardiff Castle.
