Leave it to Rihanna to arrive at the Met Gala after the red carpet wraps . . . and still make a splash. The multihyphenate and Met Gala legend showed up fashionably late in a look we can only describe as parka couture. Truly unlike anything else worn during the night, her puffy Balenciaga gown features a floor-sweeping, fluted train, as well as an exaggerated collar, all in a nylon parka material.
She appropriately topped off the look with a matching black beanie, with a stunning jewelled headband peeking from underneath it. She also accessorised with Bvlgari diamond necklaces, bracelets, and an earring amounting to over 267 carats, in addition to a diamond ring from Thelma West and custom Maria Tash earrings. Rihanna posed on the Met red carpet alongside boyfriend A$AP Rocky, who also wore an oversized parka, but in a patchwork print.
