Rihanna finally blessed us with a peek at her Oscars afterparty dress, and it was well worth the excruciating one-day wait. While attending a shindig hosted by Beyoncé and JAY-Z, the singer wore her own damn version of an LBD. An Alexandre Vauthier piece from the French designer's latest couture collection, her minidress was anything but basic, boasting voluminous, layered ruffles that extended all the way down one sleeve. The word "subtle" isn't in Rihanna's vocabulary, and we love her for it.
The (hopefully) soon-to-be R9 album releaser paired her head-turning dress with black Verdura earrings and Amina Muaddi sandals featuring rhinestone-covered lace-up straps that "shine bright like a diamond" (sorry, I simply couldn't resist that one).
