The business mogul, who's currently in her third-trimester pregnancy, shared steps of her skin-care routine in an Instagram video, clad in a sumptuous sky-blue two-piece shorts set.
As she applies the Fenty Skin Cookies 'N Clean Clay Detox Face Mask (£25) on her face, then rubs the brand's Whipped Oil Body Cream (£29) on her arms and bump, the singer showcased another revealing maternity look involving a plunging bra top and low-rise shorts. The bra was embellished with a gold chain on the right strap, which perfectly matched the stack of necklaces Rihanna accessorised with. "Rihdefining self care," a user wrote under her post. Indeed, doing a nighttime beauty routine has never looked so glam.
The singer's sleepwear brings to mind a sequin bikini she wore while vacationing in Barbados last month, as well as a sheer lace bra and panties set she donned for the Dior runway show during Paris Fashion Week. From lingerie-inspired bra tops to sheer gowns, Rihanna has singlehandedly redefined maternity wear one ensemble at a time.
She explained her style-forward philosophy to Vogue in an interview: "When I found out I was pregnant, I thought to myself, There's no way I'm going to go shopping in no maternity aisle. I'm sorry—it's too much fun to get dressed up. I'm not going to let that part disappear because my body is changing." She doubled down on her stance, adding, "I'm hoping that we were able to redefine what's considered 'decent' for pregnant women. My body is doing incredible things right now, and I'm not going to be ashamed of that. This time should feel celebratory. Because why should you be hiding your pregnancy?"
