When I woke up this morning, I didn't even have to think, "What should I wear today?" because Rihanna had already posted my outfit inspiration and it was right there in my feed when I opened Instagram. "Just wanted to show y'all my coat...again. @FENTY," she captioned her photo, two days after wearing the oversize shearling design to a football game in Italy, coordinated with a tremendous Louis Vuitton football ball purse.
The jacket retails for $3,660 on the Fenty site in this delicious shade of caramel, which would obviously go with everything from grey co-ord sweats to jeans and tinted sunglasses. The Fenty model even pulls it off as a mindress with white pumps, and to be honest, there's nothing I wouldn't try when it comes to styling Fenty outerwear.
It's merely a few days after Thanksgiving at this point, so while I probably won't be flaunting this baby with bare legs any time soon, I have every reason to invest in some statement shearling this season — it is one of the top trends, after all.
