Rihanna Reveals Her Dream Wedding Dress to Anna Wintour
You Bet Your Ass Rihanna's Designing Her Own Wedding Dress
Rihanna may not even be engaged or have any plans of getting married yet, but we're already having wild (wild, wild) thoughts about what her wedding dress may look like — and she just gave us a major clue. The 31-year-old multihyphenate is Vogue's November 2019 cover star, and the fashion publication's editor in chief, Anna Wintour, couldn't resist asking her for the scoop on her dream wedding dress. "It would probably be a collaboration between myself and (John) Galliano," Rihanna told Anna, matter-of-factly adding, "Of course."
If you're not familiar with Galliano, he's a British fashion designer who's been the head designer for big names like Givenchy and Christian Dior, and he's currently the creative director of fashion house Maison Margiela. Rihanna has worn pieces by the 58-year-old creative plenty of times through the years, perhaps most notably at the 2018 Met Gala, when she wore jewel-encrusted, pope-inspired outfit that instantly went down in Met Gala history.
