Rita Ora has never been one to shy away from a polarising outfit [1], and her look for The Fashion Awards 2022 might just be her most daring yet. The singer arrived at the Royal Albert Hall on Monday, 5 Dec. for the stylish event wearing a totally sheer red naked dress with matching thong underneath.

The dress was straight from the Nensi Dojaka spring/summer 23 runway and included a red bra with metal hearts added in the centre. Totally sheer red fabric, with a pink trimming, then fell to her ankles, revealing a matching red thong underneath. While the naked trend has certainly been a red carpet favourite [2] of late, Ora took it to a whole new level with this barely-there ensemble. A simple pair of strappy red heels completed the red hot look.

While her dress was perhaps the most attention-grabbing of the evening, there was something fishy going on with her makeup and deserves a notable mention. Her bleached eyebrows [3] made for a clear canvas for a 3D SFX look. Ora's eyes were surrounded by elevated waves made to look like fish scales, which perfectly complemented the mermaid waves in her hair. A diffused lip [4] completed the ensemble for an overall sultry effect that pushed the boundaries of red carpet dressing.
