Rita Ora Continues Her Naked-Dress Era in a Sheer Lace Skirt and Matching Bra for NYE
As Rita Ora's schedule increased in 2022, her clothes decreased. The singer fully embraced the naked dress trend and completed the year in homage to the sheer style. Celebrating New Year's Eve abroad alongside her parter, Taika Waititi, and best friend and former TOWIE star Vas J Morgan, Ora opted for a totally see-through black lace ensemble to ring in 2023.
Straight from the spring/summer 23 Dolce & Gabbana runway, Ora's look started with a gothic black lace strapless balconette bra and high-waisted briefs. A matching black lace maxi skirt was pulled over the top as she accessorised with co-ordinated opera gloves, statement earrings, layers of bangles and necklaces including a gothic cross pendant. She kept her blonde hair curly and loose, while adding graphic eyeliner, metallic silver eyeshadow, and nude glossy lip.
Morgan posted a carousel on snap with the caption, "New Years Eve and The Rest Of Our Lives", while Ora posted a sweet video of her kissing Waititi during the NYE firework display, to the sounds of her new single. Teasing new music, she wrote "SURPRISE. I'M BACK! You Only Love Me 🥃 XX/01/23 #RO3". While there's no exact release date yet, it will be unveiled this January with her album, RO3, to follow.
Ora wrapped up 2022 with a number of high-profile gigs and attention-grabbing outfits. She attended The Fashion Awards in a sheer red Nensi Dojaka naked dress with fish-scale makeup, hosted the "MTV EMAs" alongside rumoured husband, Waititi, and showcased her hip tattoos in super low-rise cutout jeans. And it looks as though she's on an upward trajectory for 2023, hitting our screens each week on "The Masked Singer", posting an impressive collection of bikini snaps on Instagram giving us holiday inspo, and new music on the horizon.
