Rita Ora fearlessly tested out the trouser-less trend during a crisp winter evening in Los Angeles. On 9 March, the "You Only Love Me [1]" singer stepped out in a pair of sheer tights and pointed stilettos while attending a pre-Oscars dinner party hosted by Vas J Morgan and Michael Braun. Ora paired her trouser-less ensemble [2] with a cropped, mesh halterneck top and a faux-fur coat in blush pink.
Unlike a traditional pair of tights, Ora's bottoms featured a thick mesh overlay along the bikini line, providing extra coverage for the late-night event. At her waist, the fabric bunched, creating an asymmetrical rose design similar to the rosette trend [3] we've seen all over the red carpet. Her crop top, made with the same see-through fabric, featured an even larger rose that blossomed across her chest and midriff.
On her feet, Ora wore a pair of three-inch stilettos with strappy ankle detailing. Additional accessories included stacked hoop earrings in gold and multiple rings, including her emerald engagement ring [4]. Bracing herself for the cold, Ora also threw on a faux-fur coat with champagne satin lining. Her beauty team tied together the entire ensemble with a high bun, a metallic manicure, bold smoky eyeshadow in shimmering black, and a cherry-red lip.
During the event, Ora also stopped to pose with celebrity friends Kate Beckinsale [5] and Jodie Turner-Smith. In between poses, Ora beamed at the camera, showing off her new gold grill [6].
