After a two-year hiatus from performing, Selena Gomez [1] gave us a glamorous fashion show at the 2019 American Music Awards that was definitely worth the wait. Gomez started the night by rocking a lime green Versace minidress [2] on the red carpet of the Microsoft Theatre. Then, she headed to the stage in an elegant black gown to sing "Lose You to Love Me" [3] before quickly changing into a crystal bodysuit to perform "Look at Her Now." After her performance, Gomez rejoined the audience in another green Versace dress — but this one gave us a very sexy lesson in layering for the festive season.
For her boudoir-inspired fourth look of the night, Gomez's Versace Fall/Winter 2019 slip dress featured an empire-waist design with a silk chartreuse bust and sheer, embroidered green lace from the waist down. The partially see-through dress was layered over orange lace tights, which gave the look an avant-garde lingerie vibe. Gomez completed the look with highlighter-green satin Versace pointed toe pumps, a wavy, wet-look lob, and black graphic winged liner.
