Biles, who was honoured by Amanda Gorman [2] for "The Original" award, was a vision in forest green. The custom ruched gown from Aliétte — which admittedly got us thinking about holiday dressing [3] — featured ribbon tie straps, side cutouts, and a high slit that showed off the gymnast's toned legs.
"I want to thank InStyle for this award and for getting me out of a leotard tonight," Simone joked as she accepted her accolade. She accessorised her glamorous dress with drop earrings from Mateo New York, an emerald Judith Leiber clutch, and mint green Louboutins.
