Kim Kardashian's New Skims Smooth Essentials Collection Promises an Invisible Look and Feel

Kim Kardashian's shapewear line Skims has announced its newest collection, Smooth Essentials. According to a press release, "The Smooth Essentials collection is designed for an invisible look and feel, with tank and briefs made from silky smooth fabric that clings and molds to your curves. These wardrobe foundations provide everyday luxury, with stretch fabrics laser-cut for a completely seamless finish." This curated capsule features minimalist cuts in five tonal colours: Ochre, Sienna, Jasper, Cocoa, and Onyx. The line features four items: the Tank, the Dipped Thong, Cheeky Brief, and Boyshort.
The Tank comes in a cropped silhouette and is meant to lay flat under clothing and features bonded edges that prevent rolling. The Dipped Thong is an invisible underwear solution that has a flattering dipped front and is intended to be worn high on the hips (à la Kim). The Smooth Cheeky Brief is also invisible under clothing and features a bonded waistband that secures to the body for a seamless finish. Lastly, the Boyshort is a full coverage option that is made from breathable stretch fabric that provides invisible support. The sizing ranges XXS through 4X and is priced from $22 for the Dipped Thong to $42 for the Tank. The collection is launching on Wednesday, April 8 at 12 p.m. EDT exclusively on Skims.com and is available for pre-order now.
