I Couldn't Resist These Butter-Soft PJs at Target — and at $22, I May Need Another Set

I love my Eberjey PJ set, but when I wanted a short version for the summer, spending $100 on loungewear [1] — even luxuriously soft loungewear — just wasn't in my budget. Then I spotted a similar style from Target's Stars Above line, and my dreams were answered. Not only are these pajama sets stylish and supersoft, they are only $22! So yeah, a Target run [2] for the "essentials" suddenly turned into a shopping spree.

Made from 95 percent Modal and 5 percent elastic, this comfy short-sleeved and shorts pajama set is lightweight and buttery soft. It feels and looks way more expensive than it is, with pretty piping detail, a button-up front, and a front pocket. The shorts have an elastic waist that isn't too tight (I found them true to size), and both the top and the bottoms are tagless — so no itchy labels to deal with. They're also machine washable and can be tumble-dried, perfect for my low-maintenance lifestyle.

I will say there's more weight to the fabric of my Eberjey pajamas, and you often get an extra level of long-lasting quality with splurging on pricier PJs. But if you're looking for a similar look for a lot less dough, these comfy Target pajamas are an impressive pick.
