Temperley London Spring 2020 Collection

Temperley Has Your Holiday Wardrobe All Sewn Up, You'll Just Need a Really Big Suitcase

Temperley London Spring 2020 Collection

Alice Temperley swapped the London Fashion Week catwalk for a more intimate option this season, staging a whimsical, romantic presentation in her Bruton Street store. But the new format didn't mean the clothes were a huge departure from what we've seen before. Though the focus shifted more to daywear than previous seasons (Temperley is doing denim!), all the label's hallmarks were still there, from nipped-waist sun dresses to tailored suiting in soft colours and embroidered party dresses with an art deco feel. It was pretty, wearable, and fun, with the designer's trademark grown-up bohemian style never in short supply.

Temperley knows her customer, but she also knows how to move with the times, shifting the focus onto separates and simpler styles that have longevity beyond party season. There were more looks that would work perfectly with a basket bag and a pair of Grecian sandals for a Summer holiday and fewer that were red carpet ready. Top of our wish list? The breezy little cotton shirt dresses, the longline blazers, and the denim shorts. Keep reading to see the whole collection.
