In Inspiring News, Tommy Hilfiger Will Donate 10,000 White T-Shirts to Healthcare Workers

29/04/2020 - 09:12 PM

Tommy Hilfiger is one of the latest designers to join in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic [1] and help healthcare workers who are on the front lines during this unprecedented time. In inspiring news, the iconic American designer is planning on donating more than 10,000 classic white T-shirts to support public health efforts in both the United States and Europe. The T-shirts will be beneficial to healthcare workers who are caring for COVID-19 patients because their personal protective equipment tends to get warm and causes them to change shirts up to three times a shift.

The designer is also planning on launching a capsule of limited-edition white T-shirts and sweatshirts, for which all proceeds will be donated to COVID-19 global relief efforts. The collection will be designed in collaboration with consumers and fans who can vote for their favourite designs on both Tommy Hilfiger [2] and Tommy Jeans [3]'s Instagram accounts until April 30. The winning styles will be available for purchase in May on the brand's website in select markets. As for price points, the T-shirt will sell for £45 and sweatshirts will cost £88. Keep reading to get a closer look at the T-shirts that will be donated and check out Tommy's social media platforms for more updates.
