There's no doubt that this year is a standout one for Vick Hope. As well as her regular BBC Radio 1 show's, "Going Home with Vick and Jordan" that she co-hosts with Jordan North, "Life Hacks", and "Official Chart: First Look", she hosted the Brit Awards nominations back in January alongside Jack Saunders, and hosted the BAFTAs red carpet in February. Oh, and she also married DJ Calvin Harris [1].
While her career is going from strength to strength — and her relationship appears to be in a sweet spot, too — she is quickly becoming our poster girl for standout style. We'd singled out the printed Dolce & Gabbana co-ord that she wore to the Chelsea Flower show [2] last summer, and there have been a whole host of looks since that have made their way onto our fashion moodboards.
One of the things we love most about Hope is that she's nailed high-low dressing. Mixing designer labels with high street brands like Superga and Missoma [3], her looks have an accessibility to them. She's even recently been named as the newest ambassador for jewellery brand, Pandora [4]. While her day job might be hosting the Drive Time slot on Radio 1, her wardrobe, often chosen in collaboration with her stylist Itunu Oke, deserves to be seen. Hope commanded attention in a neon green Rachel Gilbert gown on 17 October. The chic column dress was adorned with a crystal-covered bralet with a cutout ab window. Accessorised with Louboutin heels, an Anya Hindmarch bag, and her impressive new wedding ring, she once again wowed the fashion set with her flawless look.

Newlywed Hope hit the red carpet at the annual Attitude awards on 11 Oct. wearing a "nude" Jean Paul Gaultier dress. The sleek style was adorned with a graphic print showing a naked body and flowers which she teamed with white stilettos to keep the look fresh and bright.

Hope arrived at the V&A Summer Party wearing a stunning naked dress. Styled by Itunu Oke, the sheer black mesh on the Lanvin gown just about covered her modesty with an opaque bra section. The tulle skirt floweed to the floor and exposed her matching black thong as she walked. Teamed with barely-there Lanvin heels, Hope gave a masterclass in how to do sheer dressing in the chicest way.

Let's all take a moment to bow down to this ensemble. Hope shimmered in a matching bra and maxi skirt from Ashish that was totally covered in sequins for a preview party in London on 6 June. The orange and yellow checked print was seriously eye-catching, while the sleek shape of the maxi skirt kept the whole look sultry. With a stack of chunky gold bangles, chain necklace, black box clutch bag, and a sweep of red lipstick, she may have been attending an exhibition, but her her outfit was a work of art itself.

There's no denying Hope made others green with envy in her show-stopping Cucculelli Shaheen gown at the 2023 TV BAFTA Awards. The slinky number was bejewelled with embellished embroidery and two sultry cutouts on her chest and torso. Commanding attention on the red carpet, Hope kept her hair sleek in a middle parting, gold earrings and rings, and gold-toned makeup.

Before DJ'ing at the opening of a new hotel in London's Battersea Power station on 26 April, Hope shimmered in a stunning look. Channelling the Barbie core trend, Hope glistened in a jewel-encrusted micro-minidress by Self-Portrait. Styled by Zack Tate and Jamie Mcfarland [8], Hope didn't allow the vibrant ombré dress to take all the glory. She added a pair of rhinestone silver knee-high boots to ensure to sparkled from head to toe.

On 26 April, Hope donned a 'fit entirely from Diesel. The '90s brand is having something of a resurgence of late, and Hope certainly made a case for its return. The plunging, backless, draped top and matching baggy cargo trousers in a washed teal had a throwback feel. She dressed up the laidback look with pointed heels, and a tie-dye bag that could have been straight from a '90s girlband's wardrobe. Here for it.

For the award show in London on 5 April, Hope went knicker-less. Wearing a De La Vali micro minidress, the revealing laced, side panels were balanced out with the high-neck of the dress. Paired with strappy Aquazzura black heels, and chunky gold jewellery, Hope looked glowing with dewy skin, metallic eyeshadow, glossy lip, and her signature voluminous curls.

Hope's bralet and co-ord, from the Aries x Tommy Hilfiger collection, was a masterclass in being effortlessly cool. The baggy jeans and oversized shirt co-ord were teamed with a soft bralet and trainers. In true '90s fashion, the loose-fit jeans were low-rise to expose the waistband of her Tommy underwear.

Hope's LaQuan Smith dress was a triple threat at the Omega Launch event in London on 22 March. The black, fitted, turtleneck dress was given a graphic look thanks to three strategically-placed cutouts across the chest and torso. Simple, strappy Manolo Blahnik heels were worn underneath, while she gave her look extra fashion kudos by wearing mismatched earrings from Missoma London and Alexis Bittar. Her hair was piled on top of her hair by hair stylsit Michelle Sultan [9] with curled strands pulled out to frame her face, and gold shimmer eye makeup courtest of Kristina Theodoris [10]. What. A. Now this is how to host a red carpet. Ahead of her presenting gig at the award show, Hope walked the 2023 BAFTAs red carpet in a plunging corseted gown in a striking cobalt blue colour. Oozing elegance, Hope's hair was swept into a chic chignon while a flick of eyeliner and glowing skin ensured she really was the belle of the ball.

For the Brits afterparty at the Nobu hotel, Hope wowed in a black minidress by Area. The strappy dress came complete with a jewel-encrusted winged bust to add a little bling. The presenter teamed it with ankle-strap platform Jimmy Choo heels.

Proving less is more, Hope opted for a sophisticated jumper pencil dress for the British GQ Christmas lunch. With her hair scooped into a bun, she added drop earrings to add a hint of sparkle to the roll neck style. Simple black court shoes finished off the look.

Oozing big-collar energy, Hope served a masterclass in monochrome for the June 2022 event. Layering a white shirt with blouson sleeves under a cute pinafore minidress from Queens of Archive, she nailed cross-seasonal dressing: this outfit would look just as good with tights and boots come autumn. Pairing it with chunky white loafers kept it summer fresh.

Adding a fun spin to the trend, Hope opted for a diamanté-encrusted design from the H&M x Moschino collab, making us incredibly envious that we didn't bag it back in 2018 when the collection launched. She paired it with Nobody's Child Embroidered Denim Hot Pants, a matching denim jacket, and large silver hoop earrings for a real Noughties throwback. Trust us when we say we will be re-creating this for Glastonbury.

Opting for a summer-ready set for the Chelsea Flower Show, Hope sported an Italian-Riviera-print Dolce & Gabbana co-ord. Consisting of a crop top and midaxi skirt, the look gives a chic yet sexy midriff flash while still being elegant enough for a formal occasion. Bringing in a casual element, her sturdy Superga 2750 Cotu Classic Canvas Trainers [17] (£57) completed the look, along with a small basket bag and layered gold jewellery. It's the ultimate co-ord for any city break.

Hosting the TV BAFTA red carpet is a serious job and requires a seriously glam outfit, and this beaded Marchesa gown was perfect for the occasion. With her hair tied in a bun, the focus was fully on the fringed dress. She wouldn't look out of place in "Downton Abbey", either.

It might sound like a cliché, but you really can't beat a little black dress. This Self Portrait Sweetheart-neck lace-detail satin mini dress is timeless. The sweetheart neckline is seriously flattering, while the puff sleeves offer a little extra volume. Hope paired it with another pair of Jimmy Choos and Carrie Elizabeth jewellery for a cute party look.

The Y2K style mini has a square neckline with a tonal tie-dye pattern that Hope accessorised with layers of thin, oh-so-chic chain necklaces.

With platform Jimmy Choo sandals, an Instagram-worthy Loeffler Randall clutch, and Tilly Sveaas jewellery, the little black co-ord is fast becoming our new favourite.

The BRIT Awards are notorious for the afterparties, and this sleek gold sequin dress can easily take go from red carpet to late-night party. Teamed with Kurt Geiger shoes and subtle Lark and Berry jewellery, it's making us want to dress up. We've seen sequinned pieces skyrocket in searches on shopping platform Lyst recently, so even if you don't have a red carpet event to attend (we wish!), a sequin top, jacket, or even shorts are sure to win style points this summer.

Hope wore a custom Ted Baker gown to the Fashion Awards last year, and we really got to a taste of her design prowess, as she helped the teams work on the gown. The gorgeous green metallic colour caught the light beautifully and came with a plunging neckline and feminine ruffles. We are more than impressed with her designing debut. Surely this calls for some fashion collabs in the future?

Plaiting her hair gave a playful touch to the monochrome look.
