Vans has teamed up with British punk fashion house Vivienne Westwood for a capsule collection of trainers, titled "Anglomania." The six-piece collection features Vivienne Westwood's archived prints from the '90s and reinterpreted onto Vans' classic shoe designs.

Launching in store and online today, Anglomania pays homage to the heritage of the brands' combined identities with the Sk8-Hi platform shoe. The exclusive design features a handwritten letter sent from Vans' home base in Southern California to Vivienne Westwood's flagship store on Conduit Street, London. The Sk8-Hi platform also takes design notes from Westwood's pirate boot, which graced the catwalk in 1981 for one of her most memorable collections.

The hero piece of Anglomania is definitely Vans' classic checkerboard slip-on remixed with Westwood's "DESTROY" graphic. Both the checkerboard and the "DESTROY" graphic are namesakes of each brand from their individual releases in the '70s. Take a closer look at the six exclusive footwear designs from Vans x Vivienne Westwood's "Anglomania" collection ahead.
