Strawberries and cream. Pimms and mint. Wimbledon and celebrities. Some things just go together, and as the tennis tournament wraps up for 2022, it's time to reflect on some serious celeb spotting. Despite British players Andy Murray and Emma Raducanugetting knocked out of the competition in week one, it didn't stop the likes of "Bridgerton" star Nicola Coughlan, Radio 1 DJ Clara Amfo, and tennis-fanKate Middleton taking to the stands.
And the stars didn't disappoint in serving up some ace looks (sorry, we couldn't resist!) An array of feminine midi dresses, cute co-ords, and formal blazers took centre stage over the two-week tournament. Although, the dress code for the occasion has caused some controversy. While the crowd are encouraged to dress smartly, they do have the luxury of style options. The players, on the other hand, are not so fortunate. The strict player uniform of Wimbledon whites has been tradition for decades, but some have called out the tournament for outdated rules that disproportionately affect women athletes who might be on their period.
