Yara Shahidi Brings Back the Double Bag Trend at Paris Fashion Week
Yara Shahidi has touched down in Paris. The "Grown-ish" star was spotted posing outside Dior's autumn 2022 show in quite the unique outfit, curated by her stylist Jason Bolden. Wearing her hair in two twisted braids, she dressed in a structured, khaki-coloured cape and matching pleated skirt over a pair of casual biker shorts and black combat boots. She went with neutrals for her clothing, but added a pop of colour when it came to her striking accessories.
Shahidi carried not one, but two iconic Dior purses in the same bright green colour to complete her look. Since her micro Lady Dior was, well, too tiny to fit much, she added the more practical medium Saddle bag to her outfit. While layering bags may not be a new trend, it's been a while since we saw the double bag look all over the runways and streets, and Shahidi and Bolden's styling is certainly a fresh take.
Green is undoubtedly the Dior Beauty ambassador's colour, as she recently wore the same vibrant hue at the 2021 Emmys. Back in September, the actor chose a sophisticated, one-shoulder dress from Dior for the occasion, turning heads in a striking electric green.
At the Dior show on Tuesday, Shahidi sat front row alongside Anya Taylor-Joy, Blackpink's Jisoo, and of course, Rihanna in a grunge lingerie set. The actor brought along her mom, Keri Shahidi, who also dressed in Dior for the event. Below, get a closer view at Shahidi's full look.
