This "Dancer Arms" Workout Is 4 Minutes of Shoulder-Shaking Burn — All Set to a Rihanna Classic

Ever tried holding your arms in the air for five minutes? Go ahead, try it: your muscles will be shaking by three minutes in! And that's just from holding them straight out. Now, add in arm circles, side-to-side presses, chest expansions, and tricep extensions, for a start. My shoulders are shaking [1] just thinking about it, but that's the challenge Maddie Lymburner, fitness YouTuber and former competitive dancer, took on in this tougher-than-it-looks "dancer arms" workout, which is set to Calvin Harris and Rihanna [2]'s 2016 chart-topper "This Is What You Came For."

This workout is four minutes long and doesn't let up for a second of it: Lymburner flows straight from one move to the next, keeping her arms working the whole time. You can definitely see the dance inspiration, with every exercise synced up to the beat to create strong, elegant shapes while engageing the biceps, triceps, and shoulders. Watch the video above to see the shoulder-shaking routine, and check out Lymburner's squat challenge set to "Toxic [3]" or full-body "Toosie Slide" routine [4] for more mesmerising, on-the-beat workouts.
