Ashley Wagner Just Shocked Figure Skating Fans by Showing Up to the Olympics
Figure skater Ashley Wagner sure knows how to keep her fans guessing! Despite narrowly missing a spot on the US Olympic team and making headlines for her reaction to the news, the three-time national champion revealed to Instagram followers on Feb. 7 that she's in South Korea for a "secret" Olympics-related purpose.
"Taking a moment to appreciate the twists and turns of life," she captioned a photo of herself (above) on the ice. "Being in Korea in these shoes was a role that was totally unexpected, but with so many doors wide open I can't wait to step through and see where life takes me! Get ready for the Olympics my way!" Questions flooded her social media comments, asking whether she's reporting on Olympic figure skating for a TV network or doing some sort of social media takeover.
In another post (seen below), the skater teased what she's working on. "I'm going to be filming some exclusive content for you guys, experiencing the Olympics from my point of view," Ashley said, encouraging follower questions. Girl, what are you up to?
