Right now, we're into reusable water bottles, low-carb snacks [3], and weighted blankets [4]. There's something for everyone, and all you have to do is add them to your shopping cart.

Mueller Austria Juicer

"You could call me a juice expert [6] — I make my own drinks in the comfort of my kitchen every day. It's a fun and easy way to include more fruits and vegetables in your diet [7], and some say it even promotes weight loss [8] when done properly. If you want to juice at home too but don't even know where to start, you can get all the essentials you need from Amazon, including this juicer. Not only is this Mueller Austria Juicer [9] ($80) highly effective, it's also a great deal. Putting fruits and vegetables into the device is a breeze, and my juices come out without any pulp." — Macy Cate Williams, editor, Shop and Must Have

Manduka Superlite Yoga and Pilates Travel Mat

"When hunting for a workout mat, I wanted two thing: something I didn't have to roll up (because I don't like the way they store) and something large. This Manduka Superlite Yoga and Pilates Travel Mat [10] ($44) fit both my requirements. I love that I can fold it up like a towel and throw it under my coffee table when I'm done." — Krista Jones, assistant editor, Shop

Gymenist Kettlebell Fitness Iron Weights

"I just started using Kettlebell Weights [11] ($23) during certain workouts and it's so fun. The 10-pound weight is perfect for me as a beginner, but it comes in several other choices, ranging from five to 50 pounds." — KJ

ChocZero's Keto Bark, Milk Chocolate Almonds

"ChocZero's Keto Bark, Milk Chocolate Almonds [12] ($15 for two) are my favourite kind of sweet treat. They're low-carb and slightly addictive. I could snack on this forever and not feel guilty." — India Yaffe, editorial assistant, Shop

Bytox Hangover Patch

"The best way to prevent a hangover [13] is through moderation, but I'm not great at moderation. When a friend and fellow enthusiastic drinker recommended the Bytox Hangover Patch [14] ($20 for five), I ordered a package from Amazon while midconversation — at a bar.

I should mention that I am 40 (as is my friend), and the older you get, the worse your hangovers get. In my case, hangovers manifest themselves in the form of a debilitating headache that no amount of ibuprofen [15] can ease. Despite my best attempts to stay hydrated while consuming alcohol, the hangovers persist. At least they did, until I slapped on one of these patches.

A few years back, I tried the Flyby [16] supplement, which also claims to prevent hangovers, but it didn't work for me. The Bytox patch, however, worked miraculously. Of course, everyone's biology is different, and this patch didn't work at all for my partner. Oh well, more patches for me!

The patch also comes with instructions. You apply it at least 45 minutes before consuming alcohol and leave it on at least eight hours after you've stopped consuming alcohol. You should also make sure to stay hydrated while using the patch.

I have worn this patch a few times, including twice when I really tested its powers. The first time, I was on holiday in Puerto Rico and spent the good part of the afternoon and evening consuming cocktails. The next day, I woke up headache-free and hardly worse for the wear. The second time, I was at a 40th birthday party, and while my partner looked pretty rough the next day, I felt pretty good. Maybe not like a million bucks, but at least like $500." —

321 Strong Foam Roller

"After a gruelling session, this 321 Strong Foam Roller [17] ($22) is my savior. It helps relieve tight muscles and relaxes me." — KJ

Aroma Housewares 8-Cup Digital Rice Cooker

"After a long day of work, the last thing I want to do when I come home is cook a meal. Although whipping up a healthy dinner may not be my specialty, it doesn't mean I don't need to cook. To make my life easier, I recently bought this Aroma Housewares 8-Cup Digital Rice Cooker [18] ($34, originally $36), and now I can't imagine living without it.

Originally, I was just looking for a rice cooker, but when I saw this was also a food steamer, I was instantly sold. I can cook my favourite brown or wild rice in several different serving sizes (depending on the amount of people) because it can prepare anywhere from two to eight cups. Simultaneously, it can also make a batch of freshly steamed vegetables. To add some protein, I can even add meat or fish to complete my dish.

The easy-to-use device comes with a digital program display and it has a 15-hour delay timer so you can prep your meal before work and come home to it ready. It includes a BPA-free steam tray, measuring cup, and serving spatula, all of which are dish-washer safe — making clean up just as simple. So if you're looking to save time on meal prepping or family dinners, give this cooker a try!" — KJ

Gravity Blanket The Weighted Blanket For Sleep, Stress, and Anxiety

"My Friday nights are typically saved for drinking wine, catching up on my DVR, and surfing the internet. (Do people still say "surfing the internet?") Late last year, during one of these weekly rabbit-hole sessions, I stumbled upon a Kickstarter for a weighted "gravity blanket" that promised to ease stress, anxiety, and insomnia.

As someone who cherishes sleep to a borderline-disturbing level, I was intrigued. Anything that promises to help me keep calm and sleep on will always get my attention, but something about this seemed different (probably because I'd had a few glasses of wine). After checking out the Kickstarter video, I entered my billing information and slammed the order button. After some months, I was the proud owner of a weighted blanket. I've been using it nearly every day since, and it's pretty much changed my life.

The Gravity Blanket [19] ($249) comes in a cosy dark grey shade and is the perfect size to cover one person (i.e., me) on a bed or couch. The blanket you choose should be roughly 10 percent of your bodyweight (for example, I bought a 15-pound one), but you can go with something lighter or heavier if you want.

I'm not going to sit here and tell you that $249 is nothing, because it's not. Even though I paid considerably less because I got the Kickstarter price, the Gravity Blanket is still one of the more expensive things in my home. But when I get to my apartment, take my bra off, fall onto the couch, and throw my blanket over me, it feels like a much-needed hug at the end of a long and trying day. Here's why you should snap one up for yourself and thank me later." — Britt Stephens, content director, Celebrity and Entertainment

Sunny Health & Fitness Mini Stepper With Resistance Bands

"I spent most of my life avoiding the gym because working out was never my thing. That all changed a few years ago when I met my roommate. She is a supermotivating, positive go-getter who forced inspired me to start exercising. Our apartment quickly turned into a weird at-home gym with every quirky workout product you can find on Amazon. While most ended up being a bust (like the time half of our living room was a trampoline), one product was actually useful. This Sunny Health & Fitness Mini Stepper With Resistance Bands [20] ($44, originally $70) is a total winner!

Don't get me wrong, this at-home stepper isn't my whole exercise routine. Most of my week is dedicated to hitting up at least one Barry's Bootcamp class or going for a jog in my neighbourhood. Just like everyone else, though, I have days where simply going to work is just enough physical activity for me. A few months back, on a lazy evening when I was feeling bad about not signing up for a class, I dug into our home gym graveyard closet.I rediscovered this stair stepper, which admittedly I had never tried. I slapped it down in front of my TV and started stepping. Within minutes, I had burned a hundred calories and was feeling that muscle tension in my calves and thighs.

To my surprise, it got me to work up a pretty solid sweat and get a booty workout. The stair stepper also features tight resistance bands for intense arm exercises. Several times I have ditched the bands and used my own weights as well. My favourite feature is the counter. At the bottom where your feet stand, there is a digital screen that shows your calories burned, time spent, and the amount of steps you've done. It's great motivation for me to stay on track.

Over time, I've truly enjoyed this little routine. I'll go on for a quick 15- to 20-minute session while I catch up on my favourite show or wait for my dinner to cook in the oven. While I still do most of my hardcore sweat sessions at the gym, this product is great for the days I want to stay home and lounge without feeling guilty. Try it for yourself!" — KJ

Quest Nutrition Tortilla-Style Protein Chips

"If you like Doritos, you've got to try these Quest Nutrition Tortilla-Style Protein Chips [21] ($15 for eight). They're a lighter version of your beloved chips, and really hit the spot for me when I'm craving a salty snack. Good luck not finishing the whole bag." — IY

Bala Bangles Fully Adjustable Wearable Wrist & Ankle Weights

"These Bala Bangles Fully Adjustable Wearable Wrist & Ankle Weights [22] ($49) are great for days I feel like doing a yoga or Pilates video. And hey, sometimes I even wear them when I'm cleaning the house." — KJ

AmazonBasics Dumbbell

"I currently use 12-pound weights when I exercise at home, but I like having lighter ones for different workout needs. This AmazonBasics Dumbbell [23] ($75) set was the best option I could find with these specific options." — KJ

Fat Snax Cookies

"These Fat Snax Cookies [24] ($22) are the ultimate indulgence. They come in two per pack and are just the right amount to feel like a real treat without making you uncomfortably full." — IY

Pooboo Indoor Cycling Bike

"I have a more expensive version [25] of this Pooboo Indoor Cycling Bike [26] ($298) that was given to me by a friend and I love it so much. If you're looking to spend just a couple hundred dollars, the brand has this more affordable one and it currently boasts a five-star rating. Sounds like a win-win to me." — KJ

Takeya Actives Insulated Stainless Steel Bottle

"After investing in so many products, I realised I also needed to ditch plastic and get this Takeya Actives Insulated Stainless Steel Bottle [27] ($29). It's much easier having by my side than a glass of water, which I have to admit I've knocked over from time to time." — KJ
