A new barbell is offering people more freedom and control with, quite literally, just the push of a button. BodyRock, an online fitness community, recently released its Sweatflix Body Bar [3], which offers several grip positions that can be easily adjusted to target different arm muscles.
How does it work, exactly? The barbell's handles can rotate between eight different positions adjusted by clicking a button on the handle and locking it into the desired position. The barbell can be purchased with 35-pound weights; however, it can hold up to 90 pounds. At $150 for the barbell alone, it's definitely an investment, but one to consider if you're looking at intensifying your strength training.
