It's whatever you as an individual need to boost your mood or take care of your mental health. Your version of self-care can be anything you need it to be, whether it's going to therapy or refining your beauty routine. There's no rule, though, that says self-care has to be expensive. In fact, there are plenty of things you can do to make yourself happy that cost little to nothing but time.
