Game of Thrones Floor Routine

This Gymnast's Game of Thrones Floor Routine Will Take You Straight to Westeros

Gymnastics and Game of Thrones are my two favourite things in this world. Both require a whole lot physical strength, bravery (fighting off White Walkers and doing double backs on floor are arguably just as scary) and mental toughness like you wouldn't believe (every time another character dies on GoT, it takes days, even weeks to recover).

As a former gymnast and current Game of Thrones fan, you can imagine my excitement when I found out that a floor routine from four years ago featured the GoT theme song. The routine is performed by former elite gymnast Charlotte Sullivan, who competed for her home country of New Zealand at the 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Glasgow, Scotland. Now, she a junior at the University of Iowa, where she's a member of the school's women's gymnastics team. Watch her performance above (the GoT theme song starts to play right before her second pass). No, Daenerys Targaryen doesn't fly in on one of her dragons, but Charlotte does an outstanding job worthy of praise from all Seven Kingdoms!
