If Halle Berry ever decides to stop acting, she could always become a fitness expert — I'd hire her. Thanks to her "Fitness Friday" series on Instagram, we've learned a lot about the mother of two: she follows the keto diet, she meditates every day, her favourite exercise is push-ups, and she loves to use the medicine ball in her workouts. Her trainer, Peter Thomas, broke down what it takes to look that damn good at 51, and we're impressed. We know that eating before a workout is crucial in order to have enough energy to crush your workout, and Halle agrees.
Thomas told POPSUGAR that Halle's favourite pre-workout food is a beetroot supplement from Purium, describing it as her "favourite pick-me-up in the morning." The pre-workout supplement contains superfoods like cordyceps, moringa, beetroot, and maca root — no wonder Halle is killing it. Purium recommends taking this product mixed with water and on an empty stomach 30 minutes before your workout for the best results. Unfortunately, it won't turn us into Halle Berry overnight (you're going to have to put the work in), but a girl can dream!
