I'm a Fitness Editor, and These Are the Healthy Amazon Products Currently in My Cart

27/02/2019 - 08:45 PM

How often do you get a fitness editor, fitness model [1], personal trainer [2], and someone who just loves working out telling you what they're buying on Amazon? With everything that I've got going on, it's hard to physically go to my favourite stores and buy everything I want and need. To save myself the stress and time, I often find myself turning to Amazon, especially when I'm on my last roll of toilet paper.

Ahead, you'll find some of my favourite snacks, gear, and yes, even beauty products I'm constantly stocking up on to look and feel my best.

Oatly Oat Drink

Believe the hype: oat milk [4] is delicious. The Oatly Oat Drink [5] ($8) is my favourite brand, and I can easily go through a bottle a week. I like it in smoothies, chai lattes, and anything else that calls for milk.

Weleda Skin Food

I either have extremely dry skin or super-soft skin. There's no in-between. To keep my skin moisturised, I love to use Weleda Skin Food [6] ($10) moisturiser. You can use it on your face (great for harsh Winter weather) or anywhere that needs some extra moisture. Fun fact: Rihanna [7] also loves this product.

Nike Women's Speed 7/8 Running Tights

If I could only keep five pairs of workout leggings, the Nike Women's Speed 7/8 Running Tights [8] ($62, originally $75) would definitely be one of them. They don't move at all and they feel like you're wearing nothing. I've worn them to sprint, strength train, run distance, and walk around in, and they're great.

Lacrosse Balls

I'm going to let you all in on a little secret: lacrosse balls make the best massagers. If you're feeling tight in a specific area and can't quite reach the spot with a foam roller, pull out a lacrosse ball. These lacrosse balls [9] ($10) come in a pack of two; keep one in your gym bag and keep the other one at work or home. Trust me, it'll come in handy.

Nike Women’s Air Zoom Pegasus 35 Running Shoes

I've said it before and I'll say it again: a quality pair of running shoes is a must. I've been wearing the Nike Women's Air Zoom Pegasus 35 Running Shoes [10] ($147) since 2010 and it's still my favourite.

Scunci Thick Hair Black Elastics

If you've ever had a hair tie break on you while as you put your hair in a ponytail, you'll know it's a terrible feeling. Because this always happens to me (especially seconds before my workout starts), I always stock up on hair ties. The Scunci Thick Hair Black Elastics [11] ($13 for two packs) are my go-tos, and I always keep two on my wrist and one around my water bottle just in case.

Gourmet Rosemary and Sea Salt Blue Diamond Almonds

I'm not big on protein bars, but I do love snacking on foods like almonds. I recently came across the Gourmet Rosemary and Sea Salt Blue Diamond Almonds [12] ($7), and it's so hard not to eat the entire bag in one sitting.

Strawberry Rosebud Lip Balm Tube

The Strawberry Rosebud Lip Balm Tube [13] ($7) is another one of my tried and true products. It keeps my lips moisturised, and I don't have to reapply it every 15 minutes.

Stance Womens Run Tab Socks

I work out a lot, and a quality pair of socks is super important to me, regardless of the workout. I'm particular and don't like my socks to be too thin or thick. I've tried a bunch of different brands, and I really like how the Stance Women's Run Tab Socks [14] ($14) feel and fit.

Peach Noosa Yoghurt

I'm not a huge fan of dairy but I'm addicted to the Peach Noosa Yoghurt [15] ($2). When I'm short on time in the morning, I'll mix it with granola and have a quick breakfast on the go. I also like that I don't get an insane stomach ache or cramps after eating it.

Cetaphil Gentle Cleansing Cloths

When I have to jet from a workout the one thing I try to always do is clean my face (and reapply deodorant). I have extremely sensitive skin, but the Cetaphil Gentle Cleansing Cloths [16] ($5) make my skin feel fresh without irritating it.

Pyrex Simply Store Glass Rectangular and Round Food Container Set

I always save my takeout containers but they don't have a long life. I already own a set of the Pyrex Simply Store Glass Rectangular and Round Food Containers Set [17] ($36) and definitely need more. They're oven- and microwave-safe which means one less dish I have to wash!

Planters NUT-rition Wholesome Nut Mix Bags

The Planters NUT-rition Wholesome Nut Mix Bags [18] ($5) are light, quick to grab, and a healthy snack. They make a great pick-me-up in the mid afternoon.

Le Labo Santal 33 Eau de Parfum Sample

Call me basic but I love Le Labo fragrances. I rotate between two scents: Thé Noir 29 and Santal 33. Instead of bringing my large glass bottle with me to the gym, I recently began carrying the Le Labo Santal 33 Sample [19] ($11) in my gym bag. The sample sizes are also great for anyone who finds it hard to commit to a fragrance or ballin' on a budget [20].

Bee's Wrap Eco-Friendly Reusable Food Wraps

I'm trying to become more eco-friendly and reduce my waste, and the Bee's Wrap Assorted Reusable Food Wraps [21] ($19) are a great place to begin. I'll use these to wrap a sandwich, fruit, veggies, and leftovers.

RMS Beauty Un Cover-Up All Natural Concealer and Foundation

I don't wear makeup often but one item I do love is the RMS Beauty Un Cover-Up All Natural Concealer and Foundation [22] ($36). I like it because it melts into my skin and doesn't feel like I have makeup on at all.

Dove Advanced Care Antiperspirant Deodorant

If you haven't already noticed, I'm a creature of habit. The Dove Advanced Care Antiperspirant Deodorant [23] ($5) is a must-have and keeps my underarms feeling fresh; even if I've just completed an eight-mile run.
