There's a hashtag attached to each and every diet, with intermittent fasting being no different. The tag dedicated to I.F. boasts over a million posts, each letting you know about real-life experiences with the popular eating pattern. It's that time of the week again - #transformationtuesday 💪💪 As I'm now almost finished with the BBG AGAIN, I thought I would post an update on my progress. The picture on the left is from January before I ran the @londonmarathon and the one on the right is this morning. There is an 8kg difference between these pictures and it's not the weight that makes me the proudest, it's the complete overhaul of my life that makes me the happiest! 💞☺️ Consistency and changing habits that keep you from growing are what make a huge difference! It always amazes me how excited I get post these every month! . *These pictures are for my use only, if you are a transformation page, PLEASE ASK PERMISSION to use them!* . How did I achieve these results? . . - I follow a ketogenic diet (carbs under 20g, high protein, and fat to satiate...everyone ketos different, this is what works for me) . . - I do not track macros or calories. I listen to my body. If you want to calculate yours, there are lots of them online and it's based on your height, weight, etc . . - I intermittent fast. I did not start this right always. I stopped feeling hungry in the morning after about 2 months. I generally follow a 16/8 but I listen to my body and eat when I'm hungry. This means so days are shorter and some are longer. And some I don't fast and some days I don't eat at all . . - I incorporated excercise in October 2017; 9 months in. I switch up what I do for time to time but at the moment I am alternating a spin class with a power class at the gym and doing a 30 day leg home workout from @wolfefit.co. I also need to finish the couch 2 5k I started in January..1 week left! . . -I do my best to keep my foods as clean as possible. Substituting a keto version of a high carb food bring a me to eat more and lose control...especially if it's sweet. . - I am 5'9". Please don't compare yourself. I get comments everyday about how you hope this is your year or you wish you could have these results. YOU CAN, put in the work, stop making excuses. Find the right "diet" and research it (I like Reddit for keto) and make it a lifestyle. Change your mindset and and change your life. You didn't get to the weight you are overnight and it's going to take some time to get it off. Stick to whatever is best for you and you can do it; I know you can! I feel a night and day difference (beyond literally taking the photos during the day and night!) I’m down 16 lbs but I really don’t care about that number. I’m just happy to be at my “feel good weight.” I now have more energy and despite having a baby who doesn’t sleep through the night I feel rested most days. I used to count calories, yo-yo diet, and try to out exercise my love for food. But now, I am so thankful that I have a positive relationship with food, and I will teach my kids to have the same! I believe that what counts is 80% nutrition and 20% exercise. I love to fuel my body with convenient superfood nutrition, while also eating the foods I love in moderation.
