We might have officially found our newest source of female and fitness inspiration. Model Iskra Lawrence, who shut down the thigh-gap debate and a body shamer on Instagram, continues to keep it real. Not only is she vocal about body positivity, but she also kills it in the gym. She posted an Instagram video of herself completely crushing box jumps while holding a 22-pound kettlebell. According to her caption, "3-5 sets of 10-15 reps" is how she likes to warm up.
She also shared an unfiltered photo of herself after her workout, sweat and all, to show that strength isn't characterised by calories, weight, or size. She wrote in her caption: "I do this because I eat what I want (in moderation) . . . and I never feel guilty because I also eat nutritious foods and reward myself with exercise. I haven't dieted, calorie counted in 6 years or weighed myself." She doesn't overdo it in the gym and works out about three times a week for two hours.
Badass and incredibly strong, Iskra is a force to be reckoned with. We can't wait to see what else she shares!
