Jenna Dewan Credits These 5 Pulsing Moves For Staying Fit & We're Totally Shaking

From the moment Jenna Dewan graced our screens during Step Up [1] in 2006, we've been obsessed with her toned figure and insane dance moves. Since being able to dance like her [2] was so clearly out of the question, it became our goal to crush it like Jenna in the gym, and we're finally learning exactly how to do that. In a new video on her YouTube channel [3], the 37-year-old mother [4] shared her five favourite exercise moves to do when she's in a hurry or on the go — because dance cardio is super effective [5], but it's not always easy without guided instruction.

In the video with beloved trainer Jennifer Johnson, or JJ Dancer [6], the two get right to work using a resistance band that's about 6 feet long (the shorter the band, the harder the workout). Watch the video above to see how to get ripped like Jenna [7]. These two make working out look like the most exciting dance party [8], and we're so glad we got the invite.

The moves include: "Jenna squats," arm band extensions, band leg extensions, band leg butt ups, sliding ab straddle ups, and a bonus sliding ab open close cross. JJ said it best, "You gotta twerk to anything."
