People are beginning to mix up traditional strength training routines, incorporating equipment like the TRX [3] and kettlebells into their workouts to improve functional movement patterns and build muscle [4]. By now, you've probably heard a lot about kettlebells and their many benefits [5]. While they're a great piece of equipment, we do realise that they can be intimidating to use, especially if you're just getting into strength training.
Thankfully, personal trainer and Instagram influencer Kelsey Wells [6] gave us the 411 on how to use kettlebells for a quick, strengthening lower-body workout.
The Workout
- Kettlebell Swings [8]
- Double Kettlebell Squat [9]
- Single-Arm Kettlebell Lunge [10]
- Narrow Stance Kettlebell Deadlift [11]
- Kettlebell Deadlift [12]
