Oprah's Kept Off 42 Pounds, So Now She Wants to Get "Ripped"

LOS ANGELES, CA - FEBRUARY 26: Oprah Winfrey arrives for the Premiere Of Disney's

Oprah has been candid about her struggle with yo-yo dieting and emotional eating, but in the past year or so, she's had the most success with her weight ever. And with the triumph of keeping 42 pounds off (no easy feat!), she's ready to take on some new goals.

The A Wrinkle In Time star told People that she didn't gain her typical Christmas weight over the holiday season and is feeling better than ever. It seems like Weight Watchers and Oprah are a match made in heaven!

"My goal to be 65 and you all say, 'What happened to Oprah? She is ripped.'"

"To be able to gain nothing during Christmas and watch people eat cronuts in front of me, I consider that a victory for someone who has been an emotional eater and struggled with up-and-down weight loss my whole life."

Her next goal? Get ripped. Her words, not ours! Oprah just turned 64 in January, and her goal is to "blow it out at 65," through some strength training. "My goal to be 65 and you all say, 'What happened to Oprah? She is ripped.'"

The best part of her journey though, is her desire to be healthy, not skinny. "I'm not trying to be skinny, not trying for a size," she told People. "I'm just trying to be as healthy as my body wants to be."
