Paul Fentz Figure Skating to "Wonderwall" 2018

OMG: Our Jazz Hands Can't Handle This Swingy Figure Skating Routine to "Wonderwall"

Whether it's the 1987 version of Dirty Dancing, or the original Gilmore Girls series, there are some things in life that are best left as is. Things to add to that list: the 1995 version of "Wonderwall." On Thursday, German figure skater Paul Fentz made his debut at the 2018 Winter Olympics performing to a very jazzy version of the Oasis hit, and our ears were left totally confused.

The 25-year-old skater scored a 66.32, but even after a few falls, it was the music that people couldn't stop talking about. Paul Anka's jazz version of the song had some people calling Fentz a "genius" and others calling the routine "a crime." Well, looks like we have a new song to add to the list of weirdest figure skating music at the Olympics.

Watch the video from the German skater's performance of the routine at the European Championships last month above (the same routine he performed during the Olympics), then check out the polarized reactions to both the song and his routine ahead.
