New mums everywhere are embracing the fact that losing baby weight doesn't happen overnight and that's OK! The most important thing to remember is that you created life, and you have to take care of yourself in order to be able to take care of that little one.
After recently giving birth to her second baby in December, we love that Pink agrees. She took to Instagram to take a stand against society's pressures to look a certain way within a certain amount of time after having a baby. She says, "Would you believe I'm 160 pounds and 5'3"? By 'regular standards' that makes me obese." Say whaaaat?! She says she may not have reached her goal, but she doesn't feel obese, she just feels like herself, and tags the post #strongismygoal.
A million times yes! Many mums struggle with feeling depressed or self-conscious about what their bodies look like, so we applaud Pink's honesty and self-confidence. It's a great reminder to mums everywhere to inspire them to love their postpartum bodies more and focus on what they have accomplished, not what what they see in the mirror. She ends with, "Stay off that scale ladies!"
