If it's been a while since you've seen Roseanne Barr [1], you might be shocked to see that both she and John Goodman [2] are looking like more svelte versions of themselves [3].

In Roseanne's case, she reached her highest weight of 350 pounds just as the sitcom ended in 1997 [4] — she then took serious measures to get in shape in 1998, when she underwent gastric bypass surgery [5]. Since the surgery, she's had some "nips and tucks," that she discussed with WebMD [6].

This weight loss procedure allowed Roseanne to lose 100 pounds [7]. But losing weight and keeping weight off are two completely different battles! The 65-year-old [8]'s trick to maintaining that dramatic weight loss isn't all that revolutionary: "Eat less and move more [9]."

And though she's been outspokenly anti-vegan [10], it appears as though Roseanne has adopted a more plant-based diet [11] after moving to a macadamia nut farm in Hawaii [12].
