Your inner thighs are one of the hardest places to target while you're working out. While you can't spot-target fat loss in that area, you can work those muscles to tone up your legs. Simone De La Rue, celebrity trainer and fitness expert behind Body by Simone, shared on Instagram that inner-thigh exercises are one of the most requested moves she gets. To target that area, she shared three bodyweight moves, one of which requires a booty band.
She recommends doing each move for three sets of 15 to 20 reps on both sides. Lay down on one side with your hips stacked on top of one another. Here's how to do the moves:
- The first move uses a small resistance band, known as a booty band, around the ankles to pulse the leg up in smaller movements.
- For the second move, bend your leg that's stacked on top and lift your bottom leg up off the ground, pulsing up and down.
- For the third move, have both legs stacked on top of one another, and lift slightly from the ground and raise your top leg up about 45 degrees off the floor. Then, lift your bottom leg up to reach the top one.
The best part about these exercises is that you can do them anywhere, as long as you have a comfortable, flat surface. So add these moves into leg day and start to feel the burn in those inner thighs!
