A good playlist can make all the difference during a tough run. On March 12, Spotify and financial service group John Hancock launched a new feature that customizes playlists for users based on their music choices and run pace. In addition to awesome tracks, your personalized playlist will also have motivational tips from Boston Marathon's John Hancock Elite Athlete Team, a group of some of the world's fastest runners. Now through April 20 — just a few days after the 2018 Boston Marathon — you can head to runeliteplaylist.com to see what they have come up with for you. Here's how it works:

Set your run pace between 15 minutes per mile and five minutes per mile. Then, select the length of your run; the shortest duration is one hour while the longest is set at four-plus hours. Connect to your Spotify account (or skip without connecting), and you'll instantly see your curated playlist!

Users also have the option of getting paired with a playlist (created by an Elite Athlete team member) that best fits their running style. Whether you're training for your next race or going for a casual jog, this campaign could be a fun way to improve your running experience and discover new songs while you're at it.
