Stretch, Recover, Relax: This Is How to Handle a Rest Day
Best news ever! If you want to get stronger, you have to rest. Your muscles need time to repair themselves; this is when the strengthening actually happens. Directions: Prep your body for stretching with three to five minutes of light cardio: run in place, do jumping jacks, skip around your house. Then follow this full-body stretch routine, holding each stretch for 20 to 30 seconds.
