Sweet Hydration: Chocolate Coconut Water Smoothie

After tasting the ZICO chocolate coconut water for the first time, I knew this sweet treat needed to find a home in a high-protein and hydrating smoothie. This three-ingredient coconut water creation plays up the chocolate flavour of the ZICO, but the smoothie is thickened up by a frozen banana and raw hemp seeds.

If you've never used these B vitamin- and omega-3-packed seeds before, this smoothie is the perfect way to introduce them to your diet.

Sweet Hydration: Chocolate Coconut Water Smoothie


  1. 220 mL ZICO chocolate coconut water
    1 banana, frozen
    3 tablespoons raw hemp seeds


  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender, and mix well.
  2. Top off with sliced banana and a sprinkle of raw hemp seeds if you wish.
