Trader Joe's Vegan Cream Cheese

Our Dairy-Free Prayers Have Been Answered: Trader Joe's Now Sells This Vegan Cream Cheese

If you've gone vegan, there are probably some foods you miss: cheese, ice cream, and cream cheese, to name a few. And while your bagels probably aren't the same without a schmear of cream cheese, Trader Joe's has come to the rescue by stocking Miyoko's vegan cream cheese.

The Instagram account @traderjoesvegan found the dairy-free cream cheese in the Un-Lox Your Dream flavour, and it retails for $5.49 for an eight-ounce tub. The cream cheese is available on the West Coast, including, Portland, OR, and in New York City locations.

"Miyoko's un-lox cream cheese has hit the TJ's shelves!!" @traderjoesvegan wrote in the caption. "Just tried it for the first time and I'm in love! I was curious how I'd feel about the lox flavour considering the idea of anything with a fishy flavour scares me but I found this to have just more of a smoked flavour."

The cream cheese is organic, dairy-free, cholesterol-free, lactose-free, and non-GMO. Each one-ounce serving is 90 calories, seven grams of fat, two grams of saturated fat, four grams of carbs, two grams of fibre, one gram of sugar, and three grams of protein. Be sure to keep an eye out for this dairy-free treat next time you hit up your local Trader Joe's!
