USWNT World Cup Wheaties Box
The USWNT Just Got Their Own Wheaties Box, and THIS Is the Definition of "Breakfast of Champions"
The US Women's National Team won their fourth World Cup a month ago, and we aren't done celebrating their success just yet. Wheaties just announced that the world champions are getting a limited-edition Wheaties box, and needless to say, we're hype!
Each box is $23 — "A nod to the 23 fierce women that make up this record-breaking team," the Wheaties site said. That may sound like a hefty price for a box of cereal, but 100 percent of the proceeds will be donated to organisations that support young women in sports.
Fifty percent of the proceeds will go to Girls in the Game, an organisation dedicated to empowering young girls to find their voice and build confidence through sports, health, and leadership programs. The remaining 50 percent of proceeds will go to the US Football Girls' Development Academy, which helps to educate and support young football players.
There are only 10,000 boxes being sold, and we know they're going to go quick, so act fast! We plan on putting this box on our desk next to our Serena Williams Wheaties box and crystals for all the positive and badass vibes. Check out the limited-edition box ahead.
