When the cold weather hits and all you crave is a warm drink, don't throw all your hard work away for a calorific hot chocolate. Instead, turn your Summer sips into Winter warmers. Read on for a warm pear and spinach recipe that's full of flavour and fibre.
- 1 medium banana
- 1 pear
- 30g spinach
- 200ml almond milk
- 1 tsp. ground ginger
- 2 tbsp. hemp protein blend (this recipe uses Hemp Protein+ Flaxseed, Chia Seed, Broccoli & Spinach Powder)
- Combine the ingredients in a blender and blitz until you have a smooth mix.
- Transfer the smoothie to a saucepan and gently warm it to your desired temperature, then transfer to a glass and enjoy.
