Which Fruits Have the Most Volume?

High-Volume vs. Calorie-Dense: See Which Fruits Best Fit Your Goal

I don't know about you, but if I'm given the option to enjoy more food with fewer calories, I'll go with that one. The key is to opt for fruits with more volume, according to nutrition blogger Amanda Meixner (aka meowmeix on Instagram). She recently shared a helpful comparison on her account showing the difference between calorie-dense fruits and high-volume fruits, both of which are beneficial depending on your goal.

"While bananas are definitely a healthy choice, if you're trying to keep your calories low and still eat a lot of volume, fruits like watermelon, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, and oranges would be a better fit for you," she wrote in her caption.

On the other hand, if you want to add more calories, you'll want to go for varieties such as dates, bananas, grapes, and figs. Amanda compared a watermelon to a banana to prove her point and showed that you'd be able to eat an entire watermelon for the same amount of a calories as a single banana. Well, when you put it that way, the answer couldn't be any more obvious. More, please!
