Shaunae Miller-Uibo of the Bahamas took gold with a time of 48.36 seconds, and silver medalist Marileidy Paulino of the Dominican Republic finished just ahead of Felix with a time of 49.20 seconds. Felix now has 10 Olympic medals (six gold, three silver, one bronze), making her the most decorated Olympian in women's track and field, surpassing Jamaica's Merlene Ottey. This also means she's now tied with Carl Lewis as the most decorated Olympic track athlete in US history (Lewis won nine golds and one silver).
