Beyond Yoga Spacedye Out of Pocket High Waisted Midi Legging and Slim Racerback Cropped Tank

"It's me in my uniform, also known as the Beyond Yoga Spacedye Out of Pocket High Waisted Midi Legging [6] ($99) and Beyond Yoga Spacedye Slim Racerback Cropped Tank [7] ($66). Here's what I love so much about this matching set. For one, the leggings are perfect. The waistband is so high and doesn't roll down, plus they're not see through, which is always an essential. These pants have side pockets, so I can throw my phone, keys, and mask in when I'm on my way to a hike. I was honestly surprised by how much I love the matching top. It's cropped, but hits perfectly with the leggings, so there's full coverage, which I really appreciate. As someone with a larger chest, I was concerned about the support level, but it's actually quite comfortable. This isn't my running or HIIT top, but it's great for pilates, hikes, and hanging around the house. This set is so buttery soft, you'll never want to take it off; I certainly don't." — India Yaffe, associate editor, shop

Kin Euphorics Dream Light Nightcap

"The Kin Euphorics Dream Light Nightcap [9] ($39) tastes like the holidays to me; it includes spices like cinnamon, chili, and ginger. It's a comforting taste that is perfect for late nights. The brand recommends drinking it with the milk of your choice, but I prefer it mixed into sparkling water or hot tea. Of the three drinks Kin Euphorics makes, the Dream Light Nightcap [10] is hands down my favourite. I have been drinking it every single night about an hour before bedtime, and I sleep well with no middle-of-the-night wake-ups. Although it helps me sleep, I don't feel groggy in the morning.

The ingredients include magnesium glycinate, which can have a calming affect on the brain and reduce anxiety. There's also reishi mushroom extract, an adaptogen known for being a stress-reliever, and melatonin a natural sleep aid. All of these elements come together to make something that puts me at ease effortlessly." — Macy Cate Williams, senior editor, shop

Treadly 2 Pro

"Before the pandemic hit in 2020, I'd get around the city where I lived and worked via walking or public transit, walking a minimum of 30 minutes a day, often more. Once we transitioned to working from home full-time, my single form of daily physical activity screeched to a halt and I spent months simply moving from a less-than-ideal office chair to the couch to the bed and back again. My sedentary lifestyle really came to a head in September when I started having terrible lower-back pain, I desperately needed a new way to get moving again.

After reading reviews for desk bikes, stair steppers, the Peloton bike, and other at-home workout machines, I was most intrigued by compact treadmills I could use to walk while I work and stash away when I was done. I reached out to Treadly, and they sent me a Treadly 2 Pro [12] ($849, originally $949) to test out for a couple weeks for review purposes. By the second day, I was sold, and by the end of week two, I was whipping out my credit card, because this treadmill transformed my WFH life; I feel happier and healthier than I have in a year.

I surprised myself with how fast I can walk while I work, and it's the perfect way to get energized and warmed up every morning; I swear it helps get the creative juices flowing. In just two weeks, I walked 50 miles, which is such a huge accomplishment after I spent almost a year doing almost no physical activity. Walking is also easy on my lower back and more comfortable than standing or sitting for long periods of time.

Use code TREDP-100 at checkout to get $100 off plus free shipping on the Treadly 2 Pro [13] ($849, originally $949)." — Tara Block, deputy editor

Uleva Sleep

"Knowing how important it is to get a good night's sleep, I began the fight for my eight hours. I tried deep breathing and meditation, as well as not eating three hours before bed and avoiding caffeine after 3 p.m. I discovered that over-the-counter sleep aids are not my thing — they just left me feeling groggy and hungover the next morning. Nothing was working.

Melatonin, the hormone responsible for regulating the body's circadian rhythm, is often touted as the go-to supplement for sleep. However, I found myself waking up like clockwork about four hours after I'd taken it. CBD, on the other hand — which is one of my go-tos for stress relief — didn't necessarily cut it on its own, either. Enter: Uleva Sleep [15] ($30), which blends the circadian-regulating effects of melatonin with the balancing effects of CBD. It's a one-two punch for restless nights that can help you fall asleep and stay asleep. And because it comes in a convenient capsule, you don't have to worry about messy oil tinctures. Each capsule contains 10 mg of CBD and 3 mg of melatonin, a dose I've found quite effective for warding off the monsters that keep me up at night.

Though at first I was sceptical of taking another melatonin or CBD product — I feel like I'm constantly experimenting with sleep solutions involving the two — I finally tried again. I decided to commit to a week of a clean sleep routine. I went to bed at the same time every night, read before bed to wind down, and kept my room a screen-free zone, along with consistently taking Uleva Sleep about 30 minutes before bedtime.

My results? A near-perfect week of sleep. Call it magic, but after drifting off to dreamland within 30 minutes or so of closing my eyes, I slept all the way through the night, nightmare- and anxiety-free." — Avery Johnson, contributor

Vital Proteins Collagen Gummies

"The Vital Proteins Collagen Gummies [17] ($15) honestly taste like grape fruit snacks or candy and contain only five grams of sugar in each four-piece serving size. Each serving is 50 calories and offers three grams of protein and 2.5 grams of bovine collagen peptides. For comparison, one serving of the brand's unflavoured Collagen Peptides has 20 grams of bovine collagen peptides, so 2.5 is still a modest amount. If they can help strengthen your hair and nails, what's the harm in trying?" — Christina Stiehl, senior editor, fitness

Saje Mindfulness Pocket Farmacy

"I've had an anxiety disorder since middle school and, like many people, the past year took a toll on my mental health and exacerbated my symptoms. I began to research and try some more natural approaches to manageing my anxiety, like meditation and essential oils. When it was time to try essential oils, I turned to Saje Wellness, the same company that makes an oil blend I've used to help soothe migraine pain. They've been in business for more than 25 years, their products are formulated using scientific research, and my psychiatrist did some digging and told me it would be safe to use their essential oils, in addition to staying on my prescription medications. So, I ordered the Saje Mindfulness Pocket Farmacy [19] ($65). It comes neatly organised in a small, pretty case with five essential oils in roll-on form. The kit is the perfect size — small enough to stick in my purse and even take in my carry-on bag for flights.

My anxiety and PTSD make it extremely difficult for me to focus. I often work myself up so much that I'm too anxious and agitated to sit down at my desk and complete necessary tasks. I pace around my apartment for up to two hours sometimes and, in the past, the only thing that could get me to sit down and concentrate was taking medication. Thanks to the Reflection oil, I don't need to use Valium for this purpose as often as I used to. I'd recommend these essential oils to people who experience anxiety and concentration issues — just make sure to clear it with your doctor first, of course, especially if you're taking medication." — Caitlin Flynn, contributor

BalanceFrom GoYoga+ All-Purpose 1/2-Inch Extra Thick Yoga Mat and Knee Pad

"I used to take a lot of sculpting classes and Pilates classes, and whenever we got to mat work, my knees would hurt and I would have to fold up my mat two or three times until I got comfortable. That is, until I bought this BalanceFrom GoYoga+ All-Purpose 1/2-Inch Extra Thick Yoga Mat and Knee Pad [21] ($23). Since using it, I have not worried about my knees when doing leg lifts or fire hydrants, and my wrists have also stayed comfortable in planks, something I never thought would happen. When I purchased it, I just needed a yoga mat and wasn't expecting something super high-quality, but a year later, it's held up perfectly. I love it so much, I even bought a second." — IY

Liteboxer

"I've never boxed in my life, so when Liteboxer [23] ($1,495) brought over their new interactive boxing platform to try out for three weeks, I was so excited to pull on boxing gloves and start punching! While Liteboxer offers trainer-led boxing workouts from professional boxers, baseball players, and dancers, there is also strength training, yoga, and meditation (100+ classes). There are also workouts with resistance bands, which are sold on their website. I mostly did boxing, but did like the few strength training workouts I tried.

I know people say meditation is great for stress, but this was way more effective for me. I couldn't let my mind wander like when I'm on a run or using a cardio machine. I had to pay full attention in order to not miss punching those lights, so by the end, I felt like it was a real break for my brain from work and life. I always felt better, even if it was only a few minutes.

If you've always wanted to try boxing, or you're in a workout slump and want to try something new and entertaining, the Liteboxer might be just the thing! My entire family had fun trying it out, because it felt like a game. There's also free delivery, and it'll come with one week." — Jenny Sugar, staff writer, fitness

Old Navy High-Waisted Elevate Powersoft 7/8-Length Side-Pocket Leggings

"I knew after my first workout these High-Waisted Elevate Powersoft 7/8-Length Side-Pocket Leggings [24] ($30, originally $40) would be a pant I'd be buying time and time again. They're incredibly easy to slide on and don't require additional tugging at the thigh or waistband in order to get them on the way other tights I own do. And my absolute favourite aspect of these tights is, of course, the deep pockets. My iPhone, keys, and small zip wallet all fit inside the pockets and don't budge while running, which is no easy feat. I've done burpees and jumping jacks and gone on at least a dozen runs in them, and nothing has ever fallen out." — Rebecca Brown, contributor

Lume Deodourant

"I don't want to walk around stinky, so I tried many natural deodourants and antiperspirants to try to remedy this problem. And, after a lot of trial and error, I finally found one that works.

The best thing about Lume deodourant [26] ($49, originally $57 for three) is that it can be applied to your feet, armpits, and private parts — a triple threat! You can also buy it in a tube or deodourant stick. I prefer the tube, because you can more easily control how much or little deodourant you use on your designated areas. Lume's site claims that it can stop the stink for up to 72 hours, and I can attest that this is true. I know, it sounds too good to be true, but it's really that great. According to the brand, in clinical tests, the deodourant was found to control odour six times longer than its leading natural competitors — and considering I've tried what feels like every natural deodourant on the market, I can believe it." — Angela Anagnost-Repke, contributor

Alo 7/8 High-Waist Airlift Legging

"I am a leggings expert; between working out and working from home, they are my uniform, and I love them. Plus, I've done my research. I can tell you which leggings make your butt look good, which ones are soft and comfortable, and which ones have pockets. The Alo 7/8 High-Waist Airlift Legging [28] ($114) has taken the top spot in my drawer. The Airlift fabric manages to be breathable and easy to move in, but has a slight amount of compression to keep you held in. It's also a little bit shiny, which is flattering, but not distracting. It feels silky smooth. I can grab these leggings for any kind of workout and be happy with my choice; they're sweat-wicking enough for HIIT but don't budge during pilates." — IY

Old Navy High-Waisted Powersoft Side-Pocket Leggings

"The best feature of the High-Waisted Powersoft Side-Pocket Leggings [30] ($30, originally $40) is the waistband. It's nice and high, which makes me feel super secure when doing any sort of HIIT workout where jumping is involved, and it's thick, which means no nasty fabric marks on my skin." — RB

GapFit Breathe Low Support Strappy Sports Bra

"I am a sports-bra snob, and I am not afraid to admit it. When I'm looking for a sports bra, above all else, I need it to be comfortable. I have all different kinds of sports bras, but I've recently fallen in love with the GapFit Breathe Low Support Strappy Sports Bra [32] ($23, originally $30).

Here's why it's so great: not only is it comfortable, but it also feels supportive. As in, I could wear this all day long, not feel like I constantly need an adjustment, and actually move around. To be clear, this is a low-impact bra, so I like it for walks, Pilates flows, or just a typical workday at home. Plus, I'm a 34D, and I can't just wear anything, so if I'm cosigning this bra, you know it must be good." — IY

Old Navy Loose Cross-Front French-Terry Hoodie

"Yeah, hoodies and crewnecks are great, but you will always catch me running in a half-zip. When I get too hot, it provides the perfect amount of ventilation without having to take a layer off. Plus, it shows off your cute sports bra or workout top underneath. I don't know about you, but when I look put together, I feel more motivated to hit the pavement.

I've searched far and wide for the perfect choice for me, and I promise you, this Old Navy Loose Cross-Front French-Terry Hoodie [34] ($38, originally $40) is hands down my top pick. The material is incredible soft, the elastic waist hits just right, and the pocket across my stomach holds whatever I need. The longer ribbed sleeves give it an elevated look, too. Bonus points: there's thumb-hole slits for when you get cold." — MCW

Gaia Herbs Turmeric Supreme Extra Strength

"I get some pretty bad menstrual cramps every month. One morning when I had no time to waste on pesky menstrual symptoms, I headed straight to my kitchen for a pain reliever. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed the bottle of Gaia Turmeric Supreme Extra Strength [36] ($29) that I gave to my husband to help him reduce inflammation and support his heart health. I know that period cramps are linked to inflammation, so I figured I would do a little experiment and try these yellow pills for myself. I wondered if the natural anti-inflammatory benefits of the turmeric would have the same effect.

Within 15 minutes of taking the pills, my period cramps were a thing of the past. The pain relief was very similar to what I experience when taking OTC medication, but it took about half the time for the effects to kick in. I've now made it a monthly practice to take the Gaia Turmeric Supreme Extra Strength supplement, starting a week before my period begins. To me, there is little downside to supplying my body with this herb, it's easy enough to include in my diet, and I welcome the idea of having fewer PMS symptoms any month of the year!" — Lauren Manaker, contributor

Goplus 2-in-1 Folding Treadmill

"Getting steps in is my favourite way to spend my lunch hour, and my husband and I look forward to walking our dogs as our designated family time. I recently purchased the Goplus 2-in-1 Folding Treadmill [40] ($400, originally $529) for my home, and now I wish I'd bought it years ago. It's a dainty 49"x27" pad with a small bar at the front. Its compact frame also means that it's fairly easy to move. You can fold the handles on this treadmill, making it perfect for placement underneath a standing desk. My daily step count has been dramatically higher since adding this little piece of fitness equipment to my home and, as a result, I feel so much happier and healthier. If you, like me, enjoy walking but can't always physically get outside, I encourage you to hit 'add to cart.'" — Emilee Janitz, contributor

FreshlyFit Meals

"Since I'm trying to eat healthier in the new year and lose the 20 pounds I gained during the pandemic, I knew I needed pre-made meals that were healthy and I could just pop in the microwave. Not the tiny frozen TV dinners from the '90s, but actually home-cooked meals I could store in the fridge. Enter FreshlyFit [42] ($8-$11 per meal) to the rescue. I was pleasantly surprised with how tasty the FreshlyFit meals were. And, since I typically buy fresh groceries with the best of intentions for cooking and meal prep, but never end up using them, this also saves me money (and waste!) in wasted food. You can order FreshlyFit in four, six, 10, or 12 meals at a time. For a reasonable price, good macros, and tasty options, FreshlyFit meals are the perfect option for people who want to eat healthier in the new year but don't have the time or motivation to cook (hi, it me)." – CS

Girlfriend Collective Tommy Bra

"The Girlfriend Collective Black Tommy Bra [52] ($30, originally $38) has a square neck and back, which I generally find to be more supportive than a racerback. It manages to strike the right balance of supportive and comfortable; I feel held in but not bound down. While it's not the bra I'd grab for long runs, it will serve the needs of my daily hikes and low-impact sculpt classes beautifully. It is, though, definitely an upgrade in the support department from Girlfriend Collective's previous bras." — IY

Old Navy High-Waisted PowerSoft 7/8-Length Joggers

"I'd been searching for something thicker than my usual workout leggings and found these joggers at Old Navy with over 300 five-star reviews. Reviewers touted how warm they were, so I had to try them for myself. I was worried that a legging that touted itself as thick might sag in the crotch, but it didn't! The High-Waisted PowerSoft 7/8-Length Joggers [54] ($40) have a nice high waistband with drawstring and nice compression throughout the leg. Nothing too tight! They also marvelously have sweatpants-level pockets. I'm talking deep pockets that are fleece lined and awesome for sticking your hands into to warm up." — RB

Flexispot Height Adjustable Cycle Desk Bike

"Home workouts were already built into my routine. Instead of travelling to and from the gym, I've always used that extra time to move my body at home. But even though that part of my routine hadn't changed, I started to notice a difference in my body about a month into the pandemic. Not having actually found the time to squeeze in an extra workout with everyone home all the time, I realised I was otherwise pretty sedentary, and it had started to take a toll.

From that moment on, I did my best to move around as much as possible, but it wasn't until I found the Flexispot Height Adjustable Cycle Desk Bike [56] ($350 - $400) that I started to feel like myself again. What I love most about this piece of equipment is its flexibility. Unlike other stationary workout equipment, it's lightweight and adjustable. Whether I want to cycle while writing an article or step off the pedals and use the bike as a standing desk, the Flexispot works for me." — Sarah Muoio, contributor

StretchIt App

"If you're interested in gaining flexibility, with goals ranging from just being able to touch your toes to doing full-out splits, it's worth giving the StretchIt [58] ($13 a month) app a try. The app is user-friendly and intuitive, guiding you with a wide range of videos to tip-top flexibility. It offers classes for different skill levels and for all kinds of goals, including front splits, back bends, and even general muscle toning. If increasing your flexibility and mobility have always been on your eventual to-do list, StretchIt makes it easy to accomplish your goals and even tracks your progress as you go.

GapFit High-Rise Blackout Full Length Leggings

"There is nothing worse than leggings that become see-through when these stretch, but these GapFit High-Rise Blackout Full Length Leggings [60] ($62, originally $70) stay true to their name and that doesn't happen. The high-waisted fit sits comfortably on my hips, so I don't have to worry about pulling them up on my runs. Bonus points: the smooth material never picks up lint."— MCW

Lunya Washable Silk Sleep Mask

"I wish I had some great story as to how I came across the Lunya Washable Silk Sleep Mask [62] ($48), but knowing me, I was probably shopping online at 2 a.m. Initially I thought the price point was ridiculous, but after reading 49 reviews, I felt more confident in my purchase.

After wearing this mask every night for a couple of weeks, I never want to go to bed again without it. Dramatic? It depends on who you ask, but it's 100-percent true. So what makes this mask better than a $10 one I can find at Target? It's machine-washable, it's made with silk and very comfortable, it reduces noise, it's better than blackout curtains, and it doesn't leave dents on my face or hair.

I've had this sleep mask for nearly two years — it's still in great condition — and I still feel the same way about it. I have yet to create a wind-down routine, but no matter what my nights look like, I always wear my sleep mask. My love for it is at the point where when my friends bring up their inability to sleep, I always recommend it to them, listing off key points as to why I love it so much." — Tamara Pridgett, associate editor, fitness

Modernist X Gravity Weighted Robe

"When I heard Gravity, one of the most popular weighted-blanket brands, was releasing a new weighted bathrobe, the Modernist X Gravity Weighted Robe [66] ($130), I couldn't wait to give it a try. There is a long three-pound inner piece that wraps around the collar of the robe. The feel reminds me of a heavy heating pad or even the sensation as a hug. It instantly makes me want to sit down and just relax. The weight on my chest is so cosy and comforting, and it doesn't feel too heavy or weigh me down at all. The rest of the robe is super fluffy, light, and the perfect material to cuddle up in." — KJ

Outdoor Voices Double-Time Bra

"I've got a larger chest but a smaller ribcage, and I love to do all different types of exercise. Finding a bra that actually fits properly, doesn't feel like a medieval torture device, and is cute enough that I wouldn't mind it peeking through an activewear top is almost too much to ask for. I'd practically given up on finding a great sports bra until I stumbled upon the Outdoor Voices Double-Time Bra [68] ($48). It's surprisingly supportive; I have worn it for both HIIT and Pilates sessions and felt completely comfortable in both situations. It's also really cute, as in, cute enough that I'd dare wear it on its own for a hike, or even underneath a cardigan for a more athleisure look. Basically, if you're in the market for a new sports bra, don't be discouraged, because the Double-Time Bra exists." — IY

Girlfriend Collective Scrunchie

I'm someone who works out frequently, and the two essentials I need for any great sweat session are a supportive sports bra and a great hair tie. I don't want a regular rubber band because it bends my hair and just isn't a great way to preserve my hair's health, but all the scrunchies I've tried never seem to stay put. That is, until I tried the Girlfriend Collective Scrunchies [70] ($6). It's tight enough to survive my toughest workouts, but there are no bumps or bends in my hair. Plus, the fabric is moisture-wicking, which is perfect for a sweat session. After searching for what feels like forever, I found my perfect hair tie, and if you're as active as I am, you need one too." — IY

Girlfriend Collective FLOAT Seamless High-Rise Legging

Bala Bangles

"If you've been on Instagram, you've probably seen the Bala Bangles [74] ($49), the one pound ankle and wrist weights that are minimal and cute. They've been insanely in demand since we all switched to at-home workouts; we're talking two-month-wait-list in demand. I love these weights because they're super easy to put on and adjust. They're comfortable, and they make me feel like I can take on the world — or my hour-long Pilates class. I've also worn them on walks around my neighbourhood for a little extra burn. The one pound is great because it's enough weight to feel something, while being light enough to maintain for a full workout. If you're going to add some weights to your workout, I'd pick these bangles." — IY

Old Navy Dolphin-Hem Run Shorts

"Since it's just way too hot to run in long tights right now (back-of-the-knee sweat can get itchy quickly in leggings), I researched Old Navy's running shorts, focusing first on length and fit, and I found the Old Navy Dolphin-Hem Run Shorts [76] ($15). When they arrived I immediately put them on for a 20-minute HIIT run (read: lots of sprints). If there's one surefire way to test whether or not shorts are going to bunch in your crotch it's by opening up your stride and sprinting. During the run I didn't fiddle with the shorts once. The waistband remained snug without digging into my skin. I loved them — the shorts felt more like silk pajama shorts than workout gear, and the inner lining was lightweight." — RB

Champion Ultra High-Rise Full Length Tights

"When I think about my favourite leggings, they all have one thing in common: they're comfortable. Lately, I'm living in my Champion Ultra High-Rise Full Length Tights [78] ($40, originally $50). I love to wear this pair for walking, running, my go-to HIIT videos, and honestly, even just working from home. The material is soft and doesn't dig into my skin or make me feel like I want to rip them off. I also find them extremely flattering and the fit is secure, but not too tight." — KJ

Sportneer Bike Trainer Stand

"I grew a knack for indoor cycling, so like many of us when stay-at-home orders hit, I was pretty disappointed to miss out on my weekly classes. It wasn't until I moved back home and stumbled across the Sportneer Bike Trainer Stand [80] ($115, originally $130) that I realised I can get a similar workout, affordably. I like this bike stand for many reasons — one being that if you have an outdoor bike, all you have to do is pop it on, lock it, and set your resistance to ride it stationary. And once you're ready for an outdoor ride, you can press down on the clamp in the back and your bike will release and be ready to hit the road." — Haley Lyndes, editorial assistant, living

FP Movement Square Neck Good Karma Bra

"I have a small bust and don't need a lot of support, so the number one thing I look for in a sports bra is comfort. I've tried and tested so many options throughout the years and have a few I always turn to. Right now, my favourite pick is the FP Movement Square Neck Good Karma Bra [82] ($48). The comfortable design is what I'm wearing when I go on walks, do at-home videos, or to just lounge around in." — KJ

All Access Centre Stage Leggings

"For me, my ultimate pet peeve is leggings that aren't versatile. I like to do lots of different workouts, and I want to know that if I reach into my drawer and pull out a pair, they'll hold up in Pilates or Spin class. That's why I'm obsessed with the All Access Centre Stage Leggings [84] ($98).

Here's why I love these leggings so much: the fit is incredible, and they hold you in without feeling heavy or restrictive, as some other compression leggings tend to do. They're breathable, so great for sweaty activities, but not so light that they're out of the question in the winter. They're high waisted but don't come up to your rib cage. The waistband is thick but comfortable, so they don't budge no matter what you're doing. In short, these leggings are perfect, and they're worth every penny because I wear them so often." — IY

Heathyoga Yoga Pants With Pockets

"I'm not someone who usually embraces "athleisure." I have my everyday clothes and my workout clothes, and I prefer to keep them separate. However, I've found during the pandemic that I'm more likely to exercise if I'm already wearing clothing conducive to exercise. Rest assured that not only do I love the Heathyoga Yoga Pants With Pockets [86] ($20) but they have also been endorsed by five discerning friends of various sizes. Some of us are short, some of us are mothers, and some of us actually wear the pants to do yoga. The leggings effectively wick away sweat and feel just as comfortable when I'm done with a workout as they do when I'm laying on the couch." — Nancy Einhart, executive editor

Lululemon Align Pant

"When I first heard about the Lululemon Align Pant [88] ($98), I was curious but admittedly sceptical. They look like ordinary leggings, so I didn't think they were going to change my life in any major way, but they're made from a signature fabric called Nulu, which is basically the softest thing ever. I have a lot of leggings, but I don't have anything that feels like this. They're soft and cosy but not overly warm, and they feel like butter." — IY

Lush Sleepy Lotion

"I sleep through earthquakes, construction outside our bedroom, my husband taking a shower and getting ready for work. It's my superpower. My husband, however, wakes at the slightest noise and regularly wakes every few hours throughout the night and early morning hours. Nothing has made a difference, until now. Enter the Lush Sleepy Lotion [90] ($22) , a supercreamy lotion made up of natural ingredients like oat milk, cocoa butter, and almond oil.

After reading a number of reviews online raving about how this magic lotion can cure everything from insomnia to eczema, I had to see if it'd help my husband finally sleep through the night. And if it didn't work, at least he'd have soft skin, right? After repeating this bedtime ritual for a couple weeks, I received the text I'd been waiting for: "So I don't know what it is, but that lotion actually seems to keep me asleep." Like I said, he's a sceptic, so this is about as enthusiastic as he gets. Specifically, he said it gives him an extra two to three hours a night of sleep (he wakes up at around 5 a.m. instead of 2 to 3 a.m.) If you're struggling with sleeping through the night, I'd highly recommend giving this yummy lotion a try!"— TB

Old Navy Light Support Strappy V-Neck Sports Bra

"I wanted a matching set for my indoor training days because putting on a coordinating workout sets before a sweat session where it's just me and the mirror just puts me in the right frame of mind. This Old Navy Light Support Strappy V-Neck Sports Bra [92] ($20) is great for low-impact activities, or if you don't need a ton of support. I've worn it for indoor bootcamp, Pilates, and on the bike. It comes with removable padding, and makes me feel firmly supported. I've done a TON of jumping in it and love how it moves with me. Plus, these Old Navy High-Waisted Balance 7/8-Length Leggings [93] ($12, originally $25) have 11% spandex, so are super stretchy. They also feel soft on the inside, and are currently my top pick for any at-home workouts like Pilates and even boxing. I also appreciate that there are no pockets or zips to get in the way." — RB

Adidas Ultraboost 21 Shoes

"In the years I've been a fitness editor, I've gotten to try plenty of sneakers. And while I tend to stick to the tried-and-true running shoes I got fitted for at a running speciality shop for my half marathon to power me on the tread, I was pumped when Adidas sent me a pair of their Adidas Ultraboost 21 Shoes [95] ($180). I had heard good things about the Ultraboosts, and always thought they looked chic and stylish on my friends who rocked older versions of the sneaker. It wasn't until I put them to the test that I really got the hype.

Ultraboosts have plenty of cushion that make you feel like you're walking and running on clouds, but they're not too bulky that they'll interfere with the weightlifting portion of your class. The 25-to-30-minute portions on the treadmill during mixed-format classes (where I log around 2-to-3 miles) is the perfect distance for theses sneakers. Your feet still feel supported, yet comfortable." — CS

Reebok Nano X1 Training Shoes

"The wide toe box on the Reebok Nano X1 Training Shoes [97] ($130) makes them easy to get on and off, but also allows for my feet to expand when doing weighted squats or lunges. They're lightweight enough for box jumps and handstands, and I love the soft grippy sole for sprints and rope climbs. The extra cushioning has been great for jumping and for short runs, and the laces stay tied when I'm working on double-unders. Not that looks matter, but damn these are cute!" — JS

Under Armour Meridian Crop Leggings

"I'm a creature of habit, and when it comes to my workout gear, I'm extremely particular about the fit and feel. In general, I opt for gear that is functional, meaning I can actually move in it without feeling restricted. Under Armour recently sent me a pair of the new Meridian Crop Leggings [99] ($60), and they are becoming a favourite of mine.

They're extremely soft, like a cosy blanket, and they meet all my requirements: sweat-wicking, functional, and cute. In my opinion, the leggings have a barely-there fit without being see-through, which is extremely important. I've only done general strength workouts in these leggings, and I'm happy to report that I have absolutely no complaints about the fit or function. If you're someone who wants a classic pair of leggings you can wear to any workout from yoga to CrossFit, I definitely think you should try these out." — TP

Kettle Gryp

"As much as I like to think of myself as a dumbbell person — you can't go wrong with squat presses and some good ol' fashioned bicep curls — I'm a big believer in switching up your workouts to keep things interesting and to find new tools to build strength. Kettlebells are great because they're versatile in function (you can grip the handle in many different ways) and work your entire body, including your core. If you're searching for a way to save money and space, you might want to consider trying the Kettle Gryp [101] ($35). It's a portable device that can, as the name suggests, turn dumbbells into kettlebells. This definitely constitutes a good investment. For $35, you can turn light weights, medium weights, or heavier dumbbells up to 55 pounds into kettlebells without actually needing to buy multiple kettlebells." — Samantha Brodsky, assistant editor, fitness

Wolven Summit Crossover Pocket Legging

"The Wolven Summit Crossover Pocket Leggings [103] ($104) are my new favourites, both for my virtual yoga classes and for just lounging around the house. The fabric is insanely soft, and I love that the leg pockets are big enough to fit my phone." — MCW

Nike SuperRep Go

"I spotted the Nike SuperRep Go [105] ($81, originally $100) in my friend's Instagram Stories and I immediately went back, pressed the screen to pause her story, and had an "I need those!" moment. I shot her a quick message telling her that her shoes were super cute, and she replied telling me that she really liked them because they were lightweight.

Of course, I had to get them, and I'm in love! I'm not easy to please when it comes to workout gear or shoes, but when I put my pair on, I was surprised by how comfortable they were. I really like that the upper isn't too narrow or too wide and that my foot can actually breathe and doesn't move all over the place in the shoe. The SuperRep Go is made for circuit training, and I've been wearing it whenever I do full-body strength workouts at home. So far, I'm really excited about its functionality, how light it is, the aesthetic, of course, and how comfortable it is!" — TP
