My Top 20 Most Unskippable K-Pop Workout Songs That Every Stale Playlist Is Begging For

24/09/2019 - 10:55 PM

I'm really not exaggerating when I say that K-pop [1] has revolutionized my workout playlist. Ever since I got into it (shoutout to the BTS [2] takeover of 2018), I can't go on a run or for a trip to the gym without loading up my queue with at least a dozen K-pop tracks. I stream music videos and dance practices while I'm warming up. When I listen to these songs at work, or commuting, or relaxing, they literally make me want to go work out. I don't know what it is, but I'm not arguing.

Because I'm feeling generous, and because it can never hurt to spread the good word of K-pop, I'm sharing the top 20 K-pop tracks on my workout playlist that I seriously recommend you add to yours. You know how you have those songs you turn on at the hardest part of a workout, running up the steepest hill, pushing through that last set of squats, making it through the last interval on your bike? Yeah, these are all those songs. Time to send your workout into overdrive.
