The first thing I did when I picked up this yoghurt was see how much protein it had. Three grams wasn't bad at all! Most dairy-free yoghurts barely have 1 gram, and are usually high in calories, fat, and sugar. This cup has 140 calories, 6 grams of fat, and 11 grams of added sugar. The carb count isn't too high either, with just 20 grams.

Can't complain about the all-natural list of ingredients! Made mostly with organic cashews, sugar, strawberries, coconut cream, and live active cultures, this list gets the green light in my book.

After peeling off the lid, and licking off the thin layer of yoghurt, I couldn't wait to grab my spoon and go all in! The strawberry flavour was strong and pleasantly sweet but not grossly sweet or fake tasting. The texture was unbelievably creamy thanks to the cashews and coconut cream, but it didn't have a strong coconut flavour, which I appreciated. I was an instant a fan!

At $1.69, the price of this Organic Creamy Cashew yoghurt is pretty reasonable. Other dairy-free yoghurts can cost almost $3, so this is pretty good!

Will I Buy Trader Joe's Cashew Yoghurt Again?

My local Trader Joe's only had the strawberry flavour, so I can't wait to get my spoon in the vanilla bean! But until then, I'll definitely stock up on this strawberry. It tastes delicious on its own, with fresh fruit and nuts, or in a smoothie.
